KUNINGAN – Ratusan pegiat lingkungan dari berbagai komunitas yang tergabung dalam Aliansi Masyarakat Peduli Aliran Sungai (AMPAS) Kabupaten Kuningan melakukan aksi bersih-bersih sungai massal bertajuk “Bersama Kartini Bersihkan Sungai”, Minggu pagi, 21 April 2024.
Kegiatan dipusatkan di saluran irigasi Jalan Embah Dako, Desa Ancaran, Kecamatan Kuningan. Turut hadir dan ikut menyusuri sungai, Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Kuningan Dian Rachmat Yanuar.
Dian mengapresiasi inisiatif para relawan lingkungan yang sudah sejak pukul 08.00 WIB menyisir aliran sungai sejauh dua kilometer untuk mengangkut tumpukan sampah. Aksi ini juga digelar dalam rangka memperingati Hari Kartini.
“Ini menjadi energi moral dan contoh nyata bahwa cinta lingkungan bukan sekadar wacana. Kalau kita benar-benar sayang pada anak cucu kita, maka jangan mencemari sungai. Mun nyaah ka turunan, ulah miceun runtah ka walungan,” ujar Dian.
