Sementara di Indonesia, makanan MBG disajikan seadanya, bahkan di ruang kelas tanpa standar kebersihan.
Uha mendesak pemerintah menghentikan pola dapur sentral. Anggaran cukup disalurkan ke sekolah, lalu pelaksanaan diserahkan kepada koperasi sekolah atau komite orang tua dengan pengawasan kepala sekolah. Dengan begitu, setiap kasus keracunan bisa langsung dievaluasi di tingkat sekolah, bukan ditutupi oleh lembaga besar yang kebal kritik.
Wakil Kepala BGN, Nanik S. Deyang, sempat menangis meminta maaf pada 26 September lalu. Namun bagi Uha, permintaan maaf hanyalah drama murahan jika tidak diikuti dengan langkah konkret berupa audit anggaran, evaluasi menyeluruh, dan penghentian MBG dalam format sekarang.
Kasus Bandung Barat menjadi alarm keras. Di balik janji gizi, terselip racun yang melumpuhkan anak-anak sekolah. Dan lebih berbahaya lagi, racun itu hidup subur di bawah lindungan sebuah proyek korupsi. (Ali)
