KUNINGAN – Kasus dugaan pengeroyokan yang menewaskan seorang santri di Pondok Pesantren HK, Kecamatan Jalaksana, Kabupaten Kuningan, menyita perhatian publik. Penjabat (Pj) Bupati Kuningan, Raden Iip Hidajat, turut bereaksi cepat dengan memanggil pimpinan pesantren.
Didampingi Kepala Dinas Pendidikan, perwakilan Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Kuningan, serta Kepala UPT PPA (Unit Pelaksana Teknis Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak), Pj Bupati langsung menggelar pertemuan khusus guna menindaklanjuti insiden yang terjadi pada Kamis (30/11) malam lalu.
“Ini sedang dalam proses hukum, jadi kita serahkan sepenuhnya kepada pihak kepolisian. Kasus ini sangat serius, terlebih menyangkut kekerasan fisik hingga menyebabkan kematian. Kita harus biarkan mekanisme hukum berjalan,” ujar Iip Hidajat, Senin (4/12).
Sebelumnya, kasus ini menjadi viral di media sosial setelah akun Instagram @traged_hk mengunggah informasi soal dugaan bullying hingga berujung maut. Akun tersebut kini sudah tidak dapat diakses.
Korban dikabarkan sempat dirawat intensif di RSUD 45 Kuningan sebelum meninggal dunia pada Minggu (3/12) malam. Hasil visum menunjukkan adanya luka lebam di beberapa bagian tubuh.
