Tragedi ini patut dipertanyakan. Di mana peran guru? Apakah guru sudah benar-benar memberikan bekal agar peserta didik mampu menggapai cita-citanya?
Apakah guru sudah membukakan jalan bagi anak-anak kita untuk menemukan makna dan arah hidupnya?
Mari kita renungkan bersama. Untuk membentuk masa depan yang cerah, guru harus mampu menjadi teladan dan menanamkan pembiasaan positif agar peserta didik tumbuh menjadi pribadi yang kreatif, cerdas, bertanggung jawab, dan konsisten terhadap tujuan hidupnya.
Tanyakan dalam hati, bagaimana kabar anak-anak kita, dimana mereka beraktivitas, apakah kita menjadi guru yang selalu di ingat dan di doakan oleh mereka ?
Pembiasaan yang dilakukan secara terus-menerus dan konsisten akan melahirkan kebiasaan, dari kebiasaan akan terbentuk karakter, dan karakter inilah yang akan melahirkan peradaban yang bermartabat.
Maka, wahai para guru, jangan biarkan kelas menjadi ruang yang membungkam mimpi. Jadikanlah ruang belajar sebagai taman tempat tumbuhnya harapan dan cita-cita. Sebab, di tangan kitalah nasib sebuah generasi ditentukan. Bila guru berhenti bermimpi, maka anak-anak pun akan kehilangan arah mimpinya. []
