CIREBON – Menutup tahun 2023 dengan prestasi membanggakan, Perguruan Barudak Silat Sekolah (PBSS) Kuningan kembali mencatat sejarah di ajang bergengsi Cirebon Open Championship (COC) tingkat Jawa Barat. Dalam kejuaraan pencak silat yang digelar selama empat hari di GOR Bima, Kota Cirebon, PBSS tampil dominan dan sukses meraih juara umum I kategori pra remaja (SMP) dan remaja (SMA).
Dengan mengirimkan atlet-atlet terbaik dari berbagai satuan latihan (satlat), kontingen PBSS berhasil menyabet total 17 medali emas, 11 perak, dan 12 perunggu, sekaligus mengantarkan salah satu pesilatnya meraih gelar Pesilat Terbaik Putra.
“Alhamdulillah, PBSS meraih hasil maksimal: juara umum di dua kategori sekaligus. Ini buah dari kerja keras semua pihak, baik pelatih, atlet, maupun para senior,” ujar Guru Besar PBSS Pencak Silat Klub Bersatu, Iyan Irwandi, didampingi Pelatih Satlat Jalaksana, Jajang Sujana, usai pertandingan.
Penguasaan Penuh di Kategori SMP dan SMA
Dari kategori SMA, sembilan medali emas disumbangkan oleh atlet-atlet andalan seperti Dinda Purnama, Muhammad Farel Apriansyah, Rais, Silfia Oktafiani, Rizqa Apriliani, Rizqi Apriliani, Siti Aisyah, Susan, dan Aby Ikbal.
Lima medali perak dipersembahkan oleh Muhammad Al-Hajjul, Haris, Syifa, Dimas, dan Fathan, sementara dua perunggu disumbang Sintia Bella dan Meisya Deika Putri.
Tak hanya itu, PBSS juga menyabet gelar Pesilat Terbaik Putra melalui Jamaludin Khoiri.
Adapun di kategori SMP, delapan emas diraih oleh Quinsha Revelita Irwandi Puteri, Elka, Sheiva, Ratasya, Eliza, Aurel, Jenica, dan Padil.
Medali perak dan perunggu dikoleksi oleh atlet muda potensial seperti Putri, Jihan, Anggi, Reva, Fitria, Adisya, Dinda, Rika, Nafisya, Azkia, Ika, Rani, Lutfiola, Ernawati, Kiran, dan Nazril.
