BANDUNG – Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat memperingati Hari Jadi ke-79 dengan semangat membara bertajuk “Jabar Menyala, Indonesia Maju”, dalam upacara di Lapangan Gasibu, Bandung, Sabtu (18/8). Peringatan berlangsung meriah namun tetap khidmat, dengan pertunjukan seni budaya lintas etnis dan pesan kuat tentang peran strategis Jabar dalam pembangunan nasional.
Penjabat Gubernur Jawa Barat Bey Machmudin dalam sambutannya menyerukan pentingnya menjadikan peringatan hari jadi sebagai momentum membakar semangat kerja dan kolaborasi lintas sektor.
“Jabar Menyala bukan sekadar slogan. Ini adalah komitmen bahwa Jawa Barat adalah penggerak utama pembangunan nasional. Seperti Bandung Lautan Api, kita nyalakan semangat dari kesulitan menjadi kekuatan,” ujar Bey.
Ia menekankan bahwa visi besar Indonesia Maju tak bisa lepas dari kontribusi daerah yang progresif. Jawa Barat, lanjut Bey, menjadi titik awal pergerakan tersebut.
