Kritik Kenaikan BBM dan PPN
Aksi juga menyoroti kebijakan ekonomi yang dianggap menyengsarakan rakyat. Kenaikan BBM, minyak goreng, dan PPN dinilai menambah beban masyarakat.
“Kami bertanya, apakah para wakil rakyat ini tidak pernah ke SPBU atau belanja ke pasar? Mengapa kalian seolah tak tahu betapa menderitanya rakyat hari ini,” ujar perwakilan mahasiswa lainnya, Hendra.
Mereka mendesak pemerintah daerah ikut menyuarakan keberatan terhadap kebijakan pusat yang berdampak langsung ke masyarakat kecil, terutama dalam urusan kebutuhan pokok dan distribusi pangan.
Tuntutan Mahasiswa
Dalam aksinya, para mahasiswa menyuarakan beberapa tuntutan utama:
- Menolak penundaan Pemilu 2024 dan perpanjangan masa jabatan Presiden
- Menolak kenaikan harga BBM, minyak goreng, dan PPN
- Menuntut DPRD menyampaikan aspirasi rakyat kepada pemerintah pusat
- Menuntut pemerintah serius menstabilkan harga dan menjamin ketersediaan pangan
Aksi mahasiswa ini menjadi salah satu yang terbesar dalam beberapa tahun terakhir di Kuningan, menandai kebangkitan kembali semangat gerakan mahasiswa untuk menjadi penjaga nurani rakyat dan pengontrol kekuasaan.
