Ia tersenyum miris.
“Masalahnya, siapa yang bikin aturan itu? Ternyata yang duduk manis di kursi empuk sana.”
Anggota DPRD yang ikut nongkrong merasa terpojok. Ia tersenyum kaku, sambil berkata kalimat andalannya:
“Semua tunjangan ini sesuai aturan. Ada SK Bupati, ada dasar hukum. Kami tidak bisa melawan aturan.”
ASN langsung menyambar, “Lho, aturan itu kan dibahas dan direkomendasikan sama dewan juga. Jadi sebenarnya Bapak sedang patuh pada aturan buatan Bapak sendiri. Hebat sekali, bikin aturan lalu jadi alasan untuk mengisi dompet.”
Warga kecil menepuk meja, gelas tehnya hampir tumpah.
“Kalau begitu saya juga mau bikin aturan! Aturannya: setiap bulan anggota DPRD harus traktir satu desa makan gratis. Biar sesuai aturan juga!”
ASN mengeluarkan kalkulator pinjaman dari anaknya.
