Bupati Dian Rachmat Yanuar dalam pidatonya menegaskan kembali posisi PAUD sebagai fase emas (golden age) bagi pembentukan karakter dan kecerdasan anak. Ia menyinggung peran sentral ibu dalam menurunkan kecerdasan, sekaligus menekankan pentingnya nutrisi serta relasi sosial dalam proses tumbuh kembang.
“Gen kecerdasan itu diturunkan dari seorang ibu. Tapi lingkungan, nutrisi, dan pola asuh tetap menjadi faktor yang menentukan,” ujarnya.
Menyinggung maraknya kasus kekerasan anak, Dian mengingatkan agar Bunda PAUD dan Pokja menempatkan pengabdian sebagai ladang ibadah. Ia juga menekankan kesejahteraan guru PAUD yang disebutnya “pahlawan tanpa tanda jasa” harus diperhatikan serius.
Dian menutup sambutannya dengan target ambisius yaitu program Satu Desa, Satu PAUD Berkualitas. Ia berjanji tidak akan membiarkan ada anak usia dini di Kuningan yang terabaikan pendidikannya.
Acara tersebut dihadiri Wakil Bupati Kuningan, Pj. Sekda, Kepala Disdikbud, para kepala SKPD, pengurus PKK, Dharma Wanita Persatuan, hingga pengawas dan penilik PAUD. Turut hadir pula perwakilan Bank BJB dan para pendidik PAUD sebagai barisan garda depan yang memastikan setiap anak di Kuningan mendapatkan hak belajarnya sejak usia dini. (ali)
