KUNINGAN – Harapan untuk menambah alokasi revitalisasi sekolah di Kabupaten Kuningan mengemuka. Disebutkan telah ada pertemuan antara Wakil Menteri Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah RI dengan jajaran Pemerintah Daerah. Dalam pertemuan yang dihadiri Bupati Kuningan beserta Wakil Bupati dan jajaran Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kuningan.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Wakil Menteri Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah RI, Fajar Riza Ul Haq menyampaikan bahwa revitalisasi sekolah menjadi bagian dari program nasional yang tengah digalakkan Presiden Prabowo untuk memperkuat infrastruktur pendidikan dasar dan menengah di berbagai daerah.
“Untuk Kabupaten Kuningan, alokasi tahun ini sudah disiapkan, yaitu untuk 30 SD, 6 SMP, dan satu TK,” ujar Wamen Fajar. Kamis (19/6/2025).
Namun, aspirasi untuk penambahan kuota mengemuka dari pihak Pemda Kuningan. Bupati menyampaikan harapan agar lebih banyak sekolah di daerahnya mendapat dukungan perbaikan fisik, mengingat masih banyak bangunan yang masuk kategori rusak sedang hingga berat.
