Oleh karena itu, atas dasar ini sangat patut ketika rapat pimpinan nasional, merekomendasikan gerakan rakyat menjadi partai politik. sepanjang Anies ada, Gerakan Rakyat ini pasti mendukung Anies,” ujarnya
Lebih jauh, ia mengapresiasi atas hasil Pilpres Anies Baswedan sekitar 25 % yang sebanding dengan 40 juta masyarakat Indonesia. “Ini bukan angka yang kecil, ini angka yang luar biasa. Yang harus dilakukan adalah melipat gandakan untuk bisa mencapai 50 % lebih, itu menjadi PR dan itu mejadi target besar kami,” ujarnya.
Ia berharap, dengan jaringan yang sudah terbentuk hingga ke akar rumput, dapat menjadi dasar kekuatan bagi Anies Baswedan dalam memperoleh dukungan suara pada Pemilihan Presiden 2029 mendatang. (Icu)
