Selain menyoroti DPRD, HMI Kuningan juga mengkritisi lembaga eksekutif yang dinilai gagal mengantisipasi polemik yang muncul di masyarakat. Eka menegaskan bahwa pemerintah daerah seharusnya mampu menghadirkan kebijakan yang transparan, partisipatif, dan berpihak kepada rakyat, bukan justru menimbulkan kecurigaan publik.
“Eksekutif juga jangan hanya bersembunyi di balik dukungan politik. Apakah lembaga eksekutif berani untuk memangkas tunjangan DPRD? Saya rasa keduanya hanya bermain aman saja. Kami harap mereka wajib memastikan program yang dijalankan sesuai kebutuhan masyarakat, bukan untuk kepentingan kelompok tertentu,” tegasnya.
Sebagai bentuk kekecewaan, HMI mendesak agar Ketua DPRD Kuningan segera melakukan evaluasi kinerja, khususnya nalar kritis terhadap kebijakan eksekutif. Mereka juga menuntut agar eksekutif dan legislatif sama-sama mengedepankan kepentingan rakyat di atas kepentingan politik praktis. (Icu)
