KUNINGAN – Sebagai upaya meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap bahaya kebakaran hutan dan lahan (Karhutla), Balai Taman Nasional Gunung Ciremai (BTNGC) bersinergi dengan Anggota DPR RI Komisi IV, Rina Saadah, menggelar sosialisasi pencegahan kebakaran hutan di kawasan penyangga TNGC.
Kegiatan dilaksankan di Auditorium Linggarjati Jl. Raya Gedung Naskah Linggarjati, Desa Linggarjati, Kecamatan Cilimus, Rabu (13/8).
Turut hadir Bupati Kuningan, Dr. Dian Rachmat Yanuar, Wakil Ketua I DPRD Kuningan, Ujang Kosasih serta seluruh jajaran DPRD Kuningan dari Fraksi PKB.
Ujang Kosasih menyampaikan apresiasi atas terselenggaranya kegiatan tersebut. Menurutnya, Gunung Ciremai merupakan anugerah diberikan oleh tuhan yang harus dijaga keasriannya.
“Gunung Ciremai merupakan suatu keberkahan, dengan adanya gunung Ciremai ini kita jadi sehat. Oksigen terus menyuplai dikarenakan salah satunya pohon yang masih terjaga, ini patut kita jaga,” ujarnya.
