Di bawah bimbingan pengrajin Nisya Batik, peserta diajak menguasai tahapan lengkap membatik, mulai dari Membuat motif, Mencanting atau Teknik menorehkan malam dengan tangan stabil, lalu Mewarnai hingga Melorod atau Proses akhir yang penuh kejutan warna.
Tak sekadar sentra produksi, Nisya Batik telah menjadi ruang belajar interaktif bagi pelajar dan mahasiswa. Setiap peserta boleh membawa pulang karyanya sebagai kenang-kenangan bukti mereka telah menjadi bagian dari pelestarian budaya.
“Ini pengalaman tak terlupakan. Ternyata membatik butuh kesabaran ekstra, tapi hasilnya sangat membanggakan,” ujar salah satu mahasiswa sambil memperlihatkan kain batik karyanya.
Dengan semangat “Merawat Warisan, Menjaga Identitas”, aksi nyata UNISA ini diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan kecintaan generasi muda pada batik, warisan dunia yang tak ternilai harganya. (I-cu)
