KUNINGAN – Polemik seleksi terbuka jabatan Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Kuningan yang rencananya akan diulang oleh Bupati belum usai. Namun di balik riuh perdebatan open bidding itu, publik justru melupakan satu hal penting, masa jabatan Penjabat (Pj) Sekda saat ini akan habis pada 25 Agustus mendatang.
Artinya, Kuningan membutuhkan sosok Pj Sekda baru yang mampu bergerak cepat, terutama dalam mengambil keputusan terkait keuangan daerah. Situasi semakin krusial karena APBD Kuningan tengah menghadapi tekanan defisit, sehingga dibutuhkan figur yang paham betul mekanisme fiskal dan alur penganggaran.
“Kalau bicara kebutuhan jangka pendek, rasanya lebih tepat bila Pj Sekda berasal dari kalangan pejabat yang pernah menjadi bagian Tim Anggaran Pemerintah Daerah (TAPD). Mereka sudah teruji memahami keuangan daerah,” ujar seorang pengamat kebijakan publik, Abdul Haris, Sabtu (16/8/2025).
Jika merujuk komposisi TAPD, beberapa nama berpotensi dimunculkan. Di antaranya Kepala Bappenda Kuningan Laksono Dwi Putranto, Asisten Daerah II Setda Kuningan Wawan Setiawan, Kepala Bappeda Kuningan Purwadi Hasan Darsono, serta Kepala BPKAD Kuningan Deden Kurniawan Sopandi.
