Ketua DPC Gerindra Kuningan, Dede Ismail (Deis), menyambut positif kunjungan dari PDIP. Ia menyatakan Gerindra tengah menjajaki kemungkinan besar untuk membentuk koalisi pemenangan bersama PDIP.
“Kami siap berkoalisi. Bahkan, jika memang diinstruksikan partai, saya siap mundur dari anggota legislatif terpilih dan hanya menjadi calon wakil,” tegas Deis.
Deis menambahkan, keputusan apapun akan dikonsultasikan ke DPP Gerindra. Ia mengapresiasi pengalaman dan kekuatan politik PDIP dalam mengarungi kontestasi pilkada maupun legislatif.
Tak hanya PDIP, menurut Deis, Gerindra juga menjalin komunikasi intensif dengan partai lain seperti Golkar dan Demokrat.
“Kami ingin menciptakan poros kuat untuk Pilkada 2024. Tujuannya jelas, membangun Kuningan dengan koalisi yang solid dan punya visi sama,” katanya.
Pertemuan politik dua kekuatan besar ini menjadi sinyal kuat bahwa koalisi PDIP-Gerindra berpotensi terbentuk di Pilkada Kuningan. Publik kini menanti siapa sosok yang akan mereka usung untuk memimpin Kuningan ke depan. (ali)
