KUNINGAN – Upaya Pemerintah untuk menjamin asupan gizi optimal bagi generasi muda di Kabupaten Kuningan mendapat dukungan penuh dari institusi kepolisian setempat. Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) Polres Kuningan secara resmi memulai operasi perdana distribusi program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) di lingkungan sekolah, dengan Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri (SMPN) 1 Kuningan menjadi titik awal.
Kegiatan peluncuran yang berlangsung pada hari Senin (20/10/2025) ini mendapat perhatian serius dari Kepala Kepolisian Resor (Kapolres) Kuningan, AKBP. M. Ali Akbar. Beliau secara langsung memantau proses distribusi dan memastikan seluruh tahapan berjalan sesuai dengan standar operasional prosedur (SOP) yang ketat.
Kapolres M. Ali Akbar menyampaikan rasa syukurnya atas dimulainya operasi perdana ini. “Syukur alhamdulillah, pada hari ini SPPG Polres Kuningan perdana operasional untuk distribusi MBG di sekolah. Alhamdulillah kita di SMP 1 Kuningan dengan kurang lebih 500 penerimaan manfaat, mulai dari kelas 7 dengan kelas 8,” ujar AKBP Ali Akbar.
Tidak hanya menyasar siswa SMPN 1 Kuningan, program ini juga menjangkau kelompok rentan gizi lainnya. Target keseluruhan penerima manfaat dari SPPG Polres Kuningan cukup ambisius. “Target SPPG Polres Kuningan itu 2.400 penerima manfaat, dengan ditambah dari ibu hamil dan ibu menyusui, serta di TK sekitar 30-an,” imbuhnya, menunjukkan cakupan program yang luas dan merata.
Kapolres menekankan, kunci utama dalam pelaksanaan program ini adalah pengawasan ketat dan jaminan kebersihan makanan. Hal ini menanggapi isu-isu yang mungkin timbul terkait kualitas dan keamanan pangan.
“Intinya dalam mengatasi hal-hal yang tidak inginkan, kita harus bekerja sesuai dengan prosedur yang ada, SOP yang ada, dan meningkatkan pengawasan mulai dari tahap produksi, kemudian tahap pendistribusian. Itu sudah selalu harus disertai pengawasan dan memilih produk-produk yang betul-betul segar, yang betul-betul higienis,” tegasnya.
