KUNINGAN – Dalam rangka mempersiapkan diri menghadapi Liga Nusantara Seri A Jawa Barat yang dijadwalkan digelar akhir April 2025, Proton FC Kuningan menggelar seleksi terbuka dan uji tanding ke Malang, Jawa Timur.
Selama lawatan ke Malang pada 29 Januari hingga 1 Februari 2025, Proton FC menjalani dua laga uji coba, yakni melawan Unggul FC Malang, salah satu klub peserta Liga Profesional Futsal Indonesia dan tim futsal dari IKIP Malang.
Meski menelan kekalahan 2-4 dari Unggul FC, Proton FC menilai lawatan ini penuh pelajaran berharga, baik dari sisi permainan maupun manajerial tim.
Presiden Klub Proton FC, Thony Indra Gunawan, mengatakan uji coba ini bukan hanya ajang pemanasan, tetapi juga kesempatan untuk menyerap ilmu dari klub yang sudah malang melintang di kompetisi profesional.
“Kami dapat banyak masukan soal kesiapan pemain, strategi, serta pengelolaan tim profesional. Unggul FC pernah melalui fase Liga Nusantara sebelum masuk ke liga profesional, jadi pengalaman mereka sangat relevan,” ujar Thony, didampingi Owner Proton FC, Indah Sri Nurjanah.
