BANDUNG – Sekretaris Daerah Provinsi Jawa Barat, Herman Suryatman, menegaskan bahwa dana operasional gubernur dan wakil gubernur bukan untuk kepentingan pribadi, melainkan benar-benar dikembalikan kepada masyarakat melalui berbagai kebutuhan mendesak di lapangan.
“Dana operasional ini bukan uang pribadi kepala daerah. Justru dengan dana ini, gubernur dan wakil bisa langsung membantu masyarakat tanpa harus menunggu proses panjang musrenbang,” ujar Herman (13/9).
Ia mencontohkan, ketika gubernur atau wakil gubernur turun ke lapangan dan mendapati rumah warga roboh, dana operasional bisa langsung digunakan untuk memberikan bantuan. “Tidak mungkin menunggu musrenbang dulu, karena kebutuhan masyarakat sifatnya mendesak,” imbuhnya.
Berdasarkan Pergub Nomor 14 Tahun 2025, disebutkan gaji dan tunjangan kepala daerah dan wakil kepala daerah mencapai Rp2,2 miliar, sementara Dana Operasional (BPO) mencapai Rp28,8 miliar. Angka tersebut, menurut Herman, telah sesuai ketentuan, yakni 0,15 persen dari Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) Jawa Barat yang tahun ini menyentuh Rp19 triliun.
