Menurut Novi, keikutsertaan mahasiswa Uniku dalam ajang nasional ini adalah hasil dari pembinaan berkelanjutan serta dukungan dari berbagai pihak di kampus.
“Ini adalah langkah penting bagi Uniku untuk terus mencetak prestasi dan memperluas kontribusi mahasiswa di kancah nasional,” ucapnya.
Ia berharap kehadiran tiga atlet tersebut bisa memberikan hasil terbaik bagi kontingen Jawa Barat serta menjadi motivasi bagi mahasiswa lainnya untuk aktif dalam bidang olahraga.

Pekan Olahraga Mahasiswa Nasional (POMNAS) merupakan agenda rutin yang mempertemukan atlet-atlet mahasiswa dari seluruh Indonesia. Ajang ini tidak hanya menjadi wadah kompetisi, tetapi juga menjadi sarana mempererat solidaritas antar mahasiswa dari berbagai daerah.
POMNAS 2023 di Kalimantan Selatan menjadi momen penting, terutama setelah dunia olahraga mahasiswa mengalami stagnasi akibat pandemi. Dengan mengirimkan tiga atletnya, Universitas Kuningan menunjukkan konsistensinya dalam mendorong mahasiswa untuk berprestasi tidak hanya di ruang kelas, tetapi juga di gelanggang olahraga.
