KUNINGAN — Suhu politik birokrasi Kabupaten Kuningan memanas. Kursi Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Kuningan definitif, posisi strategis yang telah lama kosong dan hanya diisi pejabat sementara, kini memasuki babak krusial. Dari dua belas nama pejabat eselon II yang berjibaku dalam seleksi ketat, tiga figur dilaporkan muncul ke permukaan, mendominasi bursa calon pemimpin tertinggi Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) di lingkup Pemerintah Kabupaten Kuningan.
Tiga nama yang kini menjadi perbincangan utama di setiap sudut kantor pemerintahan adalah U. Kusmana, Kepala Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, Deni Hamdani, Sekretaris DPRD dan Wahyu Hidayah, Kepala Dinas Ketahanan Pangan dan Pertanian, yang saat ini juga menjabat sebagai Penjabat (Pj) Sekda. Ketiganya bukan pemain baru. Mereka adalah birokrat dengan rekam jejak panjang, masing-masing membawa bekal pengalaman, kedekatan administratif, dan dukungan yang diyakini seimbang.
Meskipun desas-desus di internal Pemkab Kuningan begitu santer, pihak berwenang memilih bungkam. Bahkan Sekretaris Badan Kepegawaian dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (BKPSDM) Kuningan, Dodi Sudiana, mengakui bahwa proses seleksi tengah berjalan di pusat. “Masih dalam proses. Manajemen talenta sedang berjalan, jadi kita tunggu hasilnya,” ujar Dodi singkat, Jumat (31/10/2025).
Menurut Dodi, tahapan krusial saat ini berada di tangan Badan Kepegawaian Negara (BKN). Sebanyak 12 nama, yang telah melalui proses asesmen dan manajemen talenta, tengah diverifikasi secara mendalam. Proses BKN inilah yang akan menjadi penentu siapa tiga besar yang berhak maju ke meja Bupati.
”Proses di BKN sedang berjalan. Hasilnya nanti berupa tiga nama dengan nilai tertinggi, berdasarkan penilaian kompetensi, rekam jejak, dan hasil asesmen. Dari situ, Pak Bupati akan memilih satu untuk diajukan pelantikan,” jelas Dodi.
Proses penetapan Sekda definitif ini, lanjutnya, akan diselesaikan secepatnya. Setelah rekomendasi BKN turun, Bupati Dian Rachmat Yanuar akan menentukan satu nama. Kemudian, izin pelantikan akan diajukan kepada Gubernur Jawa Barat melalui Badan Kepegawaian Daerah (BKD) Provinsi Jawa Barat.
