KUNINGAN – Salah satu Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG) atau Dapur Gizi yang dikelola mantan Calon Wakil Bupati Kuningan dilounching. Secara simbolis, peluncuran program itu dilakukan di SMPN 2 Lebakwangi, Senin, (29/9).
Sebanyak 402 ompreng disalurkan kepada peserta didik. Hadir menyaksikan acara itu Wakil Bupati Kuningan, Tuti Andriyani.
Mewakili unsur Yayasan Baitul Izzah Qur’ani, H. Kamdan, menyampaikan terimakasih kepada berbagai pihak, terutama Presiden Prabowo yang menginisiasi program Makan Bergizi Gratis.
”Waktu saya sekolah boro-boro dapat MBG, makan kenyang aja tidak ada. Bagi masyarakat yang lain tentunya, program ini sangat diharapkan, yang biasanya untuk makan aja susah,” ujarnya.
Sosok pengusaha sukses asal Ciawigebang itu berharap, implementasi program tersebut berjalan lancar dan sesuai harapan masyarakat. “Alhamdulillah sebanyak 3.495 penerima manfaat kami layani, mulai dari sekolah PAUD, SD, SMP, ibu menyusui, ibu hamil dan balita. Mudah-mudahan penerapannya sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan oleh masyarakat,” tuturnya.
Sementara itu, Wakil Bupati Kuningan, Tuti Andriyani menerangkan, program itu menjadi salah satu bentuk komitmen pemerintah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan melalui pemenuhan gizi yang sehat bagi peserta didik.
“Anak-anak harus mendapatkan makanan yang layak, sehat, dan bergizi agar tumbuh kembangnya optimal. Dengan tubuh sehat, mereka dapat belajar lebih semangat dan berprestasi,” ujarnya.
Orang nomor 2 di Kabupaten Kuningan ini menekankan kepada pemilik dan pengelola dapur se-Kabupaten Kuningan supaya memanfaatkan potensi bahan baku lokal sebagai upaya meminimalisir terjadinya keracunan dan makanan basi.
”Sesuai dengan arahan dari pemerintah pusat, agar memanfaatkan potensi lokal. Hal itu dapat membantu ekonomi masyarakat setempat, saya pesan kepada pemilik dapur harus benar-benar higenis,” tuturnya.
