KUNINGAN – Kabar rencana masuknya investor pabrik sepatu ke Kabupaten Kuningan disambut gembira sebagian warga. Harapan utama, kehadiran industri itu bisa menyerap tenaga kerja dalam jumlah besar di tengah kondisi lapangan kerja yang terbatas. Namun, euforia itu tak sepenuhnya berjalan mulus. Seperti Abdul Haris yang juga berprofesi sebagai advokat di kuningan mulai mempertanyakan legalitas dan kredibilitas perusahaan yang disebut-sebut akan menanamkan modalnya.
Haris, mengaku langsung melakukan penelusuran mandiri melalui mesin pencari Google setelah mendengar nama perusahaan yang dikabarkan akan berinvestasi adalah PT Tahodong Jakarta. “Hasilnya nihil. Tidak ada rekam jejak, baik informasi resmi, pemberitaan, maupun dokumen legalitas perusahaan,” ujarnya, Kamis (18/9/2025).
Kondisi itu memunculkan dugaan bahwa perusahaan tersebut mungkin belum benar-benar eksis, melainkan baru akan didirikan. “Jangan-jangan hanya wacana, apalagi ini terkait industri padat karya seperti pabrik sepatu yang jelas membutuhkan proses perizinan panjang dan ketat,” katanya.
