Anggota DPRD Provinsi Jawa Barat, Ika Siti Ramhatika, secara khusus menyoroti ancaman sistem pinjaman liar ini dalam acara yang dihadiri ratusan warga Winduhaji. Di hadapan para ibu-ibu yang memadati Gedung Kelurahan Winduhaji, Ika melontarkan peringatan keras.
“Jangan pernah tergoda ‘bank emok’! Bunga yang mencekik leher bisa menghancurkan masa depan anak-anak kita sendiri,” tegasnya.
Ika membeberkan risiko ‘bank emok’, mulai dari bunga yang tinggi, ancaman kekerasan dari debt collector, bahkan keluarga terpaksa jual aset atau anak putus sekolah.
