KUNINGAN – Ratusan warga Cigugur memadati kediaman keluarga besar H. Acep Purnama di Komplek BTN Cigugur untuk memanjatkan doa bersama memperingati 1 tahun meninggalnya mantan Bupati Kuningan yang tercinta. Acara yang digelar dengan khidmat ini dihadiri oleh keluarga, kerabat, tokoh masyarakat, yang turut mendoakan almarhum. Jumat (23/5/2025).
Suasana haru biru terasa begitu kental, terutama ketika istri almarhum, Hj. Ika Siti Rahmantika, tak kuasa menahan tetesan air mata. Air matanya mengalir saat mengenang sosok suaminya yang telah berpulang setahun silam.
H. Acep Purnama, yang menjabat sebagai Bupati Kuningan selama dua periode (2016-2018 dan 2018-2023), dikenal sebagai sosok pemimpin yang rendah hati, tegas, dan sangat dekat dengan masyarakat. Selama kepemimpinannya, ia banyak membawa perubahan bagi Kabupaten Kuningan, terutama dalam bidang pembangunan infrastruktur, pendidikan, dan kesejahteraan sosial.
Almarhum juga dikenal sebagai figur yang sangat peduli terhadap rakyat kecil. Ia sering turun langsung ke pelosok desa untuk mendengarkan keluhan masyarakat dan memastikan program pembangunan tepat sasaran. Kebijakannya seperti pembangunan jalan desa, peningkatan fasilitas kesehatan, dan bantuan untuk petani membuatnya dikenang sebagai pemimpin yang merakyat.
Tak hanya di dunia politik, H. Acep Purnama juga dikenal sebagai sosok yang religius dan keluarga yang harmonis. Ia selalu menekankan pentingnya kebersamaan dan nilai-nilai keagamaan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hal ini yang membuat banyak warga merasa kehilangan sosoknya.
Acara tahlilan dan doa bersama ini menjadi momen refleksi bagi seluruh masyarakat Kuningan. Banyak warga yang secara spontan mengirimkan doa melalui pesan maupun hadir langsung ke kediaman almarhum.
“Kami berdoa semoga almarhum diterima di sisi-Nya dan keluarga yang ditinggalkan diberi ketabahan,” ujar salah seorang warga yang hadir.
