KUNINGAN – Polres Kuningan bakal melakukan langkah tegas terhadap angkutan kota (angkot) yang tidak memenuhi standar keselamatan, menyusul terjadinya kasus pencabulan terhadap anak di dalam angkot yang belum lama ini menggegerkan warga.
Kapolres Kuningan, AKBP Willy Andrian, menegaskan bahwa pihaknya akan menertibkan angkot-angkot yang menggunakan kaca film terlalu gelap dan pemasangan stiker “one way” yang dinilai tidak sesuai dengan standar keselamatan.
“Penertiban akan kami lakukan melalui Satlantas Polres Kuningan bekerja sama dengan Dinas Perhubungan (Dishub). Tidak hanya soal stiker, tetapi juga kaca film yang terlalu gelap akan menjadi sasaran karena berpotensi disalahgunakan,” tegas Willy kepada media.
Menurut Willy, pihaknya tidak hanya akan bergerak dalam ranah penindakan hukum, tetapi juga akan memperkuat fungsi pencegahan dan pengawasan, terutama untuk melindungi anak-anak dari kekerasan dan tindakan asusila.
“Kami mengimbau kepada orang tua dan guru untuk lebih ketat dalam mengawasi anak-anak. Baik dari segi perilaku, lingkungan pergaulan, maupun saat menggunakan transportasi umum,” ujarnya.
