KUNINGAN – Pemerintah Desa Gewok, Kecamatan Garawangi, angkat bicara terkait pemberitaan salah satu warganya yang tinggal di kebun pisang. Melalui Sekretaris Desa, Sarnadi, pihak desa mengklarifikasi bahwa warga yang akrab disapa Idoy tersebut telah beberapa kali menerima bantuan dari pemerintah desa.
“Setiap ada bantuan, pasti kami salurkan ke Idoy. Termasuk BLT Dana Desa, bahkan untuk kebutuhan administrasi seperti pembuatan KTP dan KK kami bantu secara gratis. Itu bentuk kepedulian kami,” ungkap Sarnadi kepada Cikalpedia.id, Selasa (22/7).
Sarnadi juga menuturkan bahwa sebelumnya Idoy sempat menjalani usaha jual beli kambing bersama rekannya. Bahkan pihaknya juga memfasilitasi tempat tinggal di Dusun 2. Namun, karena diduga terjadi ketidakharmonisan dalam hubungan bisnis tersebut, Idoy memilih untuk menarik diri dari lingkungan masyarakat.
“Idoy memilih hidup terpisah karena keinginannya sendiri. Ia sudah terbiasa tinggal di kebun, bahkan sebelum tinggal di kebun pisang, ia pernah hidup di Bunigeulis dalam kondisi serupa,” jelasnya.
