Jakarta– Ketua DPR RI Puan Maharani menerima tanda kehormatan Bintang Republik Indonesia Utama, salah satu penghargaan tertinggi negara, yang disematkan langsung oleh Presiden Prabowo Subianto di Istana Negara (25/8).
Penganugerahan ini menjadi bagian dari rangkaian peringatan Hari Kemerdekaan ke-80 RI, di mana Presiden Prabowo menganugerahkan tanda jasa dan kehormatan kepada 141 tokoh bangsa dari berbagai bidang.
Dalam sambutannya, Puan menyampaikan terima kasih kepada Presiden Prabowo dan menegaskan bahwa penghargaan tersebut merupakan amanah besar dari rakyat.
“Penghargaan Bintang Republik Indonesia Utama yang saya terima hari ini bukan semata pengakuan pribadi, melainkan tanggung jawab besar yang dititipkan masyarakat kepada saya,” ujar Puan.
Puan menekankan bahwa setiap tanda kehormatan harus dimaknai sebagai dorongan untuk terus memperjuangkan kepentingan rakyat, terutama di tengah tantangan ekonomi.
