KUNINGAN – Ratusan aparatur sipil negara (ASN), personel TNI, Polri, dan masyarakat umum memadati Pendopo Kabupaten Kuningan, dalam kegiatan donor darah massal yang digelar oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Kuningan bekerja sama dengan Palang Merah Indonesia (PMI) Kuningan, Selasa, 13 Agustus 2024.
Kegiatan ini menjadi salah satu bagian dari rangkaian peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun Kemerdekaan RI ke-79 dan Hari Jadi ke-526 Kuningan, yang tahun ini dikemas dalam nuansa kemanusiaan dan solidaritas sosial.
Tampak hadir Ketua PMI Kuningan Ika Siti Rahmantika, didampingi Ketua Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Kuningan, Wiwin Taufik, yang juga istri dari Pj Sekda Kuningan, Asep Taufik Rohman.
“Donor darah ini adalah bentuk nyata dari rasa peduli dan kemanusiaan. Kita ingin menumbuhkan kesadaran bahwa membantu sesama bisa dilakukan dengan cara sederhana namun bermakna, seperti mendonorkan darah,” ujar Wiwin Taufik, saat ditemui di lokasi kegiatan.
Donor Darah Jadi Gaya Hidup Sosial
Wiwin menambahkan, kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi langkah awal untuk membangun kebiasaan berdonor secara mandiri. Ia mengajak para peserta agar ke depan lebih proaktif mendatangi kantor PMI dan ikut menjaga ketersediaan stok darah.
“Banyak saudara kita yang membutuhkan darah di saat-saat kritis. Ini bukan hanya soal kegiatan seremoni, tetapi menyangkut nyawa seseorang,” tuturnya.
Kegiatan donor darah sendiri digelar di teras Pendopo Kuningan, di mana suasana semangat dan sukarela terlihat dari ratusan peserta yang secara tertib mengantre untuk menyumbangkan darahnya. Petugas dari PMI tampak sigap mendampingi jalannya kegiatan dari awal hingga akhir.
