Kemenangan ini membuat Kuningan mengoleksi 7 poin, sementara Indramayu 4 poin berada di grup yang sama.
Sejak awal babak pertama, Kuningan tampil cukup agresif dengan menekan pertahanan Indramayu. Gol tunggal tercipta setelah kiper Indramayu melakukan blunder saat mengantisipasi bola sehingga tercipta gol dan keunggulan tersebut membuat semangat tim tuan rumah semakin meningkat. Hingga turun minum tidak ada tambahan gol tercipta.
Memasuki babak kedua, intensitas pertandingan semakin tinggi. Indramayu mencoba mengejar ketertinggalan dengan melancarkan serangan cepat, namun barisan pertahanan Kuningan bermain disiplin.
Beberapa peluang sempat tercipta, tetapi berhasil dimentahkan oleh kiper Kuningan. Hingga peluit panjang dibunyikan, skor tetap bertahan 1-0 untuk kemenangan Kuningan.
Kemenangan tipis ini tidak hanya menambah poin, tetapi juga menumbuhkan optimisme bahwa tim sepakbola putra Kuningan mampu bersaing dengan daerah lain dalam perebutan tiket menuju babak selanjutnya.
Dengan kemenangan ini, Kuningan semakin memperbesar peluang untuk melaju ke fase berikutnya di ajang Porprov Jabar. Hasil tersebut juga mempertegas posisi Kuningan di klasemen sementara grup dengan torehan 7 poin, unggul atas Indramayu yang baru mengumpulkan 4 poin. (Icu)
